  • Cities from coast to coast taking parking meter technology for a spin By Michael Keating
    In Walnut Creek, Calif., the city's Transportation Division is experimenting with new parking pay stations on two blocks of Main Street. Six multi-space pay stations have been installed as part of a pilot program to gauge their performance. The pay stations cost $60,000 to purchase and install.
